Hired work has a communication problem that runs in both directions. Freelancers, agencies, and dev teams burn unbilled hours every Friday turning commit logs and board moves into something a client can read. Businesses that hire contractors get silence, then invoices.
WorkedOn sits in the middle. It connects to the tools where work already happens — read-only — gathers the week's real activity, and drafts a clear, human-reviewed update: what got done, what it means, what's next, what's needed. Providers send branded client reports; businesses get a live feed and a weekly AI report from every contractor, who never pays for a seat.
Two rules shape everything: reports are grounded in real activity (nothing is ever invented), and a human approves before anything is shared. Raw code and patches are never stored — only activity metadata and transient diff analysis.
